I misheard the initial instruction to replicate Itten’s wheel and stated straight away with my own interpretation, using Itten’s as a reference for colour order. Keeping on. the theme of Ritual, I chose to create a Pentagram which is an ancient symbol that is and has been relevant in many spiritual movements including Taoism, Christianity, Wicca, Occultism and Ancient Greeks. I created a dark background which I felt made the bright colours stand out and ‘pop’ and also gave it an Astral feeling.

I also used some of the marble paper that I did as they complemented the colour wheel theme.
